Sabbath School
Each Sabbath morning, Sabbath schools for each age group welcome children to an hour of active learning geared to their stage of faith development. These classes provide faith-shaping experiences for newborns through adolescents.
Note: Cradle Roll and Primary Sabbath re-opens on 5 Apr 2021.
Children's Sabbath Schools |
Beginners: birth–2 years old |
Kindergarten: 3–5 years old |
Primary: 6–9 years old (grades 1–4) |
Juniors: 10–11 years old (grade 5–6) |
Earliteen: 12–13 years old (grades 7–8) |
Youth: grades 9–12 |
Beginners links: To follow along with this class, parents may want to have the following objects ready: - Two objects, like sticks, to bang - A horn or something to blow; any other music instruments - A crown, hat, or something to wear on the head - Stuffed animals - A large container to hold stuffed animals - A rug or towel to walk on (to mimic golden streets) - A paper plate or round, steering wheel-like object - Cotton balls or something like a cloud - An angel or a doll - Toy brush or small cleaning utensils - Coins and a container to hold them"
